OK I have another Question For all you Bronco Masterminds about the two cats between the y pipe and muffler It's a 95 XLT 5.0 I got som new shortys and was thinking of taking the second cat off and moving the flowmaster 40 up so I can run the tailpipes out before the rear wheels I wanted to know if the second cat is just for the Government or does it play a vital roll in the performance of the vehicle PS im running a flowmaster 40 single in duell out and had the pipes made to run to the rear bumper but would like to shorten them up Thanks

I thought the second cylinder that don't have an air line to the egr/air pump was some sort of resonator for better sound deadening to complement the muffler, but I don't know for sure.

thats what I thought Tennessee Jed but wasn't sure I want to take the tail pipes off and bring them out just before the rear wheels but with that second cat makes the muffler sit to far back If anyone has done this id appreciate any feedback you have Plus with all the new inspection laws in Mass. I don't need the hassles from the MAN Thanks
