Seat Questions

Hi All,

I was getting a new window crank at the local salvage yard and I came across some nearly mint condition bucket and rear seats and console from a '91. All for $120! I have a '96 with bench seating in front. I know the rear seat would fit, but the fronts I'm not sure of.

1. Will I have all of the mounting points since my truck came with a bench?

2. Will the mounting points be the same since they are from the previous generation Bronco?

Yes, the 91 bucket seat mounts should be a direct bolt-in for your 96 Bronco. The holes should be there in the floorpan, just remove the plastic plugs from the holes you need. Check that the insert or welded-on nut is there on the underside of the floor, and that it doesn't strip out. IF it's missing or stripped, you can use a regular bolt and flat washer for one bracket bolt. JSM84

what kind of bench seat up front do you have just a plain old bench or is it split. i am asking because i would be intrested in buy the front bench seat from you.

Thanks for the info, guys. I'll be getting the seat belts too. My bench is split. Fabric is not torn, but isn't terribly clean. The rear seat has no tears either. The piece of plastic trim on the driver side of the front seat is cracked, but it doesn't affect anything. I just like buckets better than the bench and really want the center console for storage.
