Ok i want to get a rack for my spare and other muddin accesories. I cant find one less than 250 so i was thinking about making one. What do yall think?

"well, here is my first shot at making a safari basket. overall i am pretty pleased. if it doesn't break or the welds dont pop i will be amazed. i am totally shocked at how thin the fiberglass is on the topper. i never would have thought that it is a single layer then headliner. i am going to start saving up for a rollcage immediately.
anyhow, here are few shots of the basket. as soon as cash allows i think i will build another one out of round tubing. this was nearly free so i cant complain and the learning experience was well worth it..."

Fabrication Info & pics in an 83; "...I wanted to add a sun visor and roof rack so i looked around and i had a "Snow Bear" tailgate and some bed frame rails and got the roof ladder rack mounts and made my own..."
