This might be more suited for the Texas members but I was just curious what you folks use?

We can't use rifles in N.J. to hunt. My buddy has a 1990 Bronco and he took the shotgun mount out of an old State Trooper car.Now his shotgun mounts up front...straight up and down like in a Troopers car. It looks really kool.

probably illegal but in tenn. i have a rack mounted to the roof of my pickup. it holds two guns with soft rubber and the barrel is held in its holder by velcro straps that squeezes the rubber together. effective and better than reaching behind you to grab the boom stick

yea i just happened to think of it. its a 91 f150 that we use for a farm truck and i hunt out of. its alot less obvious than putting one behind the seat like you typically see. ive been pulled over for diffrerent things and 8 out of 10 cops never take the time to look at the roof on the inside of the truck. but like i said whenever you need it its easy access
