This is kind of related to someone else's previous post.

I have a 73 that's converted to Hurst floor shift. I'm getting ready to remove my steering column (installing power steering from a 74).

Has anybody rigged up a way to install the reverse light switch on the Hurst?

Hopefully when the shifter was installed, part number 16 in the shifter diagram was installed as well. ( reverse light switch bracket)

I extended the wiring from the factory location, and used a Chrysler switch that had contacts both open and closed ( it was cheap and the guys at my local parts store were getting ****** at me testing out numerous switches)

edit...

I think the pn for the switch I used was

Blue Streak SLS 117 ( the switch should be a "normally open" type switch)
