Trying to stay original, should the bottom of the tub be painted, primed or bare metal??

not sure about originality but black looks good...not sure i would go with primer though...go like a flat black that looks good.

Not sure on yours but I'd never go with bare metal even if its clear coated as it never holds off rust. Prime, paint color you want then clear coat.
