I am looking for a c4 conversion and I was just wondering what my 66 3 sp. with a hurst floor conversion (78000mi.) might be worth. How about the dana 20? Is it even worth selling on ebay?(hassle!!!)

the 3 speed is pretty much a paper weight. D20 might be worth a c note or two, but I would use it for trading rather than selling it. But why are you getting rid of it? are you going with an atlas or a cold duck? the D20 will still be usable with the C4.

I dunno what I'm gonna do. I know there's other t-case options,I just don't know what's better or why.

If you are looking for extra low gearing then you have a couple of options. The Cold Duck setup is dual transfer cases and I am not sure that anyone even carries them anymore. You can also replace the gears inside the 20 to go even lower anywhere from $850-2k. Then there is the Atlas II setup where you get the same gearing that you would get by swaping out gears for about 2k. There are a couple of others out there, but for what it is worth, I wouldn't ditch that D20. It is a good strong case and will go in with the C4.

Just my .02

No that is a pretty decent price. Just make sure that it isn't beat all to ****. An average price for a new adapter is about $450, so $200 is pretty darn good.

Why not add a NP435/205 combo out of a 78 or 79 Bronco? This is what I run but had to make a cross brace, extend the drivelines and modify the exhaust. The 205 t-case isn't as low as a D20 so if you want to use your D20 with the NP435 all you need is the adapter and everything will bolt up. You can use the same drivelines since the D20 and the cross brace are in same location. 435's shift a bit slower than a 3 spd but are much stronger and have lower gears. No linkages to mess with either.
