We’re in the process of installing a hoist in our shop to lift the top off of our 1996 Ford Bronco. What kind of slings would you recommend for lifting it?

I have removed these full-size Bronco tops by getting inside the rear area with my back against the inside bottom of the shell top, and lifting up with my legs. Then duck walking the top rearward a little so that two helping friends on the sides could grab it and place it on the ground.
I suppose instead of the helpers handling the top, some nylon slings with hook ends similar to what are used on semi-truck trailer flatbed side rails could be used to lift after breaking the top free with your back?
