I lossened my right exhaust manifold to work on the tranny filler tube. I lossened the bolts at the engine and at the exit of the header to the next exhuast pipe. Now my engine is running like crap. It is studdering and seems to be miss firing. I checked the torque of the header bolts at both ends. Do I need to replace the gasket at the engine and the seal at the exit because of leak or is there something I am missing. Nothing else has changed.

That should have nothing to do with it. It could be possible that you removed spark plug wires and put them on wrong. Or maybe a vaccum line got disconnected in all the excitment

No everything with the wiring should be good. I even replaced the ignition wires and ensured that they where connected correctly. I looked for any vaccum lines that were diconnected and did not find any. Any thoughts.

id really look closer at the vaccuum lines. one day my engine was running perfect the next it was rough idle and irratic. i found that one of the plugs for an unused vaccum line had fell off. put one back on and it was fixed just like that

I gotta make it x3 on the vacuum lines. Even if they look like they are in good shape, run them out and check them next to the carb. One could have been cracked and you didn't know it and is just now starting to show up. Or like was stated, a plug could have fallen off. Check all of it.
