hey guys, i was out wheelin today and the ol bronc showed up everybody. Yehaw! but to my problem, a couple of months ago, when i start speedin up on dry pavement, the whole front end just shakes violently. now it doesn't do it all the time. when it happens, if i slow down almost to a stop then taked off again, it will stop. its only happend a few times untill today. after today it did it three times. Is it the cv joint or maybe the u-joints in the front drive shaft. (does the front driveshaft even spin when in two wheel)? any help would be greatly appreciated (daily driver!)

Mine does the same thing from about 25 - 35 mph. It isn't very violent, but a pronounced shake. It seems to come back around 70 -80 mph on the expressway. All I can think to do is rebuild the double cardan U joint at the front of the rear drive shaft. That won't be for a few weeks though as I've got some business to take care of...

If your post is still on here, I'll let you know how it went.

My Bronco shakes real bad when I first start driving, but thats because my super swampers are nylon bias ply, i think is what it is called. So they have to reround after it sits all night(but man do they look good!) Then noticed a real bad shake when I turn right so took apeek and seems I think I need new tie rod ends. So hopefully that will help mine out.

Mine used to get a shake around 35, it was the spindle lock nuts behind the hubs that had warped and backed off the wheel bearing. The drivers side was so bad that I couldn't remove it and had to just tighten it as best as I could.

you could need ball joints, i thinik thats what your problem might be, i run 38x15.50 tires and my truck is smooth all the way up to about 75 mph before i start getting any vibrations, make sure that your front end is all tight, your wheels have proper pressure and balance, and that you run steering stabilizers if you have oversized tires, include your trucks info and mods in your signature, it helps us help you!
