My son and I are thinking about making our 1984 Bronco resemble the Rat Rods of the olden days. Flat black primer, red pinstripes and red rims...I know it is gonna be coooooool! We need a good one-off shifter **** though. Any ideas?

How about something with a horse theme; something like a 3 dimensional version of the bronco logo or maybe just a horse's head. (Chrome plated of course)

How about a Rolling Rock Draft Beer Tap? It has a horse head on it. IF you put 33" tires on the Bronc the tap also has the number 33 under the horse head. Just an idea.

Also you can look at some of those walking canes. I have seen quite a few that have a horse head on the top of them. Those usually just unscrew so it might be an easy fit.

Excellent idea with the horse theme!! And I did show my son some pics of huge shifters. I can order some good ones. I just have to make sure I have room! Gotta hit all the gears.

I will look for nice walking canes. Hard to find really creative ones in my area though.

I am getting more confident with the rat rod theme. Can't wait to be done. I will post pics.

later gents and ladies.
