pros and cons of TTB

pple tell me that ttb is fords worst idea and other say its amazing. im thinking about an SAS but im not sure. i mostly drive roads but the weekends i wanna mobb the **** out of it (within reason lol) so what do i do.

Might read the pinned topic on "Lifting the TTB", which explains the geometry of that type suspension. Some of the desert pre-runner trucks use the 2WD version of the TTB, the TIB (twin I-beam), or something like AutoFab's customized TTB. Personal opinion, I prefer the straight axle for ease of lifting and offroad driving. The TTB can be knocked out of alignment while offroading quite easily, too.
