You need to add anti freeze into the tire so that it doesn't rust the wheel. By the way, what is "Shot"?
Oh, OK.... Not sure why adding anything else to the water for extra weight is worth it.FISHING weights................. B)
The comp crawlers run one or the other water or shot (like shotgun) antifreeze is a great idea. I am gooing too relocate some weight to the front, thinking the hijack on the front bumper, shovel too, stack some pulleys and straps in the passenger side vent hole. Does not seem like alot but it adds up might help alittle...Oh, OK.... Not sure why adding anything else to the water for extra weight is worth it.
Are you talking about a stinger in the front, I would love that, the guy I wheel with all the time are thinking we needa bender we both weld well , but want to bend some tube, we just cant decide on what diameter, he wants 2 inch and I want 1 1/2 for cages and bumbers, he is a jeep guy thus 2 inch I am a cut the *uck out of the truck and make it wheel good, stinger is my next project down too the frameWhat ga. is your front bumper?
You could also add weight up front by adding more cage and get additional protection. Add a bar (each side) from the front bumper (might need to make a hoop on front of bumper first) and go thru the front grill (just below hood) and attach to the front legs of the cage. When wheeling steep grades, going down hill can be a challange and having extra protection from the front end stuffing the radiator into the fan or engine is a must.
Maybe add some 3/8" thick diff covers?
