There has been some progress made over the past few weeks. Need to block it down and get moving on the body work.

Looks amazing.

I like the long trailing arms. Where did they come from?

R they straight?
How much longer than stock?
Am I right - only needed when going more then 4 inch susp (not BL) lift?
Never followed much modding after 3.5 on these, as had no interest on jackin da rig.

DO havea extra set I've thought of the olskol above. Just for tire clearance. No real articulation need. Whadaya say?

They are extended radius arms. The idea was to be able to run 33's without the infamous rub turning left. What has happened is that I gained about 2" in height as well. I bought these several years ago. I have had the truck for 36 of its 53 year life. Couldn't afford to do what I wanted to it so rather than trash it I put it in the garage on blocks and bought parts as I could afford them. Hopefully the patience will payoff in a one of a kind head turner that could take on any trail as well. Only took me 32 years, lol.

Yes I know that you can adjust the stops to stop the rub. That just reduced the turning radius. The new arms seemed to have bought me more mobility via turning radius
