hey guys,

I have an 89 fullsize bronco with a 302 efi, new heads, exhaust manifolds, dual exhaust among other "fixes". I have a 351w out of a 91 3/4 pickup available to me and wonder how much work it is going to take to make the conversion. Also is it worth the effort and learning curve?

I guess the answer to your question is that, it all depends on why you want to change the engine. Is it just because you have a 351 available for free or is your existing engine tired? Personally, I wouldn't mind having a spare 351 laying around to rebuild and have ready for when mine is ready to come out for rebuild. If you think you want to do the swap, I'd do a complete overhaul first. The conversion isn't that difficult. You will need the computer out of the donor truck as well as the engine wiring harness and it wouldn't hurt to take the vacuum setup also.

Good luck,

:)>-

I got an 84 Bronco from my Step-dad last August and I now am going to start to fixing it. I just wish I knew what to do with it. I would like to go muddin' with it but nothing to serious. I know it is a V6. I also want to put a soft top on it (tinted with the zippered/ roll-up windows). What are some of the amounts you guys spent on fixing your Bronco up
