I am in the middle of a complete frame up re-biuld on a 72. I got radius arm extentions from "Stone Crusher" and I have a 3 1/2 lift from "Wild Horse". When I move the radius arm brackets back I am worried that my pinion angle on my dana 44 front end will not be right. What should it be?

As long as your pinion angle is +/- 6 degrees from the x-fer angle, you will be ok because you have a CV joint on the front and rear driveshafts. Anything steeper than that angle is going to be trouble because that will wear out the CVs. If you got a complete lift kit, then you should have also received a set of radius arm & "C" bushings with a 6 degree caster offset. These "C" bushings will also correct the problem. As far as them being extended, there really shouldn't be any ramifications as long as you have the rear of the radius arm at the same angle as stock, even if it is extended. If you are worried about that, then you can build a radius arm drop bracket like guys do for the track arm.

I did get the c bushings with the compete kit. With 6 or so degrees to play with I should have no problems then. I will have to build the brakets for the radius arms so I can adjust the height there if needed. Thanks
