I have an 89 Bronco 5.0L with an automatic transmission and I have always noticed a rare vibrating noise in my accelerator. Until recently, the problem was never a big deal, occurring maybe once a month (and thats being generous). In the last month, however, I have noticed the problem occurring more and more until now it occurs every time I drive. I finally took the truck into my local Ford Dealership and the found that the problem was with the "Pedal Assembly." They could not resolve the problem as Ford no longer makes the part(s). Other than "the pedal assembly" the dealership really hasn't been specific, nor were they able to give me a former part number as the part has been discontinued. I personally am not very automotively inclined, so for all intents and purposes I am lost. I'm sure there is some aftermarket company out there that still makes the part, however I'm not really too sure what I'm looking for. If anyone has any information on a pedal assembly for an 89 Bronco 5 liter with an automatic tranny, I would appreciate it.
