Has anyone done the Holley ****** swap yet? I am getting ready to do it and wondered if there are any tips from those that have done this already. Thanks!

I presume you're talking the snip er EFI upgrade?

I actually talked a very good customer out of doing this to his 1967 302 due to the complexity of plumbing two separate pumps, return lines, vapor recovery and switching hardware just so he could start his engine without pumping the gas in the morning.

I am up in the air on it. keep thinking about it. I have a corvette and if I decide to keep it, then it will probably get an EFI kit. For the main reason my kids can't seem to figure out carbs.

Reading about the Fitech and the Holley both, I was wondering how they performed compared to a good carb. You can find lots of budget drag racers running the Fitech. Over and Over they said their track times did not change. Better or worse. The only gain they did get was track times over the course of the season or even the evening stayed more consistent as the FI compensated for temperature and humidity changes.
Read about some guys having difficulty programing it the way they wanted, but other than that, really no complaints.

Can't wait to hear how it goes for you. Maybe I won't do it. LOL

I bought the complete set up but haven't had time to install it all. Did you run into any issues with the self learning side of it?
