i really need some help.... if you have a bronco, have a heart and help a fellow bronco out... it rained really hard a nite ago and water has reached into the gas tank... half gas and half water. Started the bronco and noticed the problem when black smoke poured out the exhaust and idleing was terrible then it cut off. Ive researched and alcohol is supposed to absorb water yet in little amounts. Should i start siphoning now to **** everything out then refuel with a full tank or is there another way?

Dry gas is like 85% denatured isopropyl alcohol. alcohol will burn at about 40-50% dilution. so if you have quite a bit of water in the tank you will need quite a bit of dry gas, but make sure that you have sufficient gas to help the water/alcohol mix thru the system with out over heating the engine (pure alcohol burns really lean and will burn out a piston heads quickly.)
