here is another question! my oil pressure gauge does not work. let me rephrase that. when i turn the key on it goes to the 1/2 way mark... when i turn the truck on it goes to 0. i know i am getting oil pressure, or at least i think i am. i drive it and it has not blown up yet... i would like to know where is the first place i should go to try and trouble shoot this. all other gauges work fine.

The oil pressure sensor in down in the front drivers side kinda behind the power steering pump . If you unplug it and get the wire somewhere you can get to it start the vehicle and have someone watch the guage if you touch that wire to ground the guage should go to full or high if the wireing is correct at this point you know the sender is bad and you will have to replace it . They are fun to get to
