oil pressure location

anyone know what size fitting i need to install manual oil pressure sensor in the block next to oil filter,the one with the kit only fits in the stock location on top of the motor.im just trying to get both of them to work.

I removed the plug next to the fuel pump,it must be 1/2 inch Npt,its larger than the stock port.
Well I'll grant that it may well be larger than stock but it's sure no 1/2". 5/16" maybe. All I really remember is plumbing my oil lines in there because it was right above the oil pump so I figured it would be the closest port to give me an accurate reading on what the oil pump was pushing. Now this was also on the 460's but I've noticed a port in the same place on the smallblocks but I find it hard to believe it's 1/2". Regardless of just *what* it is, bring the plug down to NAPA or AutoZone or whoever's closest and have them match it. Then you'll know for sure the size & pitch and can get an adapter for your oil line.
