Oil in my air filter box?????

1990 fullsize bronco 5.8 there seems to be oil coming thru the hoses and into the air filter box, why is this and what can i do to fix it. It has 134,000 miles I just did a complete tune up, plugs ,wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, oil filter new oil, tranny filter , new fluids and a new cat back exhaust. it runs pretty good, but it still is a little rough at sometimes. What can i do about the oil.???? Thank you .

Crankcase pressure....could be worn rings.

Maybe heavier oil...oil additives

Double check PCV system hoses and valve located at back of intake/pass side. Make sure the valve at least rattles,if not replace it.

have heard of in some cases the oil return tubes geting clogged and oil has to go somewhere so it comes out of the crank vent if this is the case then heavy oil or additive may make it worse and the down side is the remedy for that case is run an oil flush thru (maybe more than one) howver then you may find it was bad rings and it could make the prob worse and if your engine has high miles the flush may pu a lot of bad crud in the pan and clog the oil pump screen and pickup tube better find the tru cause and eliminate others (as there may be more than one) and fix right the first time as if not the second may prove to be much worse

remember that there is no such thing as cure in a bottle if there is a problem fix it or live with it dont put bandaids on it as the cost is almost always higher in the long run
