Oil Fill cap?

I dont know if all of them are like this or this is something that someone put on mine, but its like a PCV valve built into the oil fill cap?? So far all I can tell that it really does is spew oil all over the engine compartment.

On my '90, it connects by way of a 4 inch rubber hose to a 36 inch plastic pipe, and then to the bottom of the air filter box, (but mine is fuel injected.) I guess your's would go to your air filter also.

i know what your talking about with that oil fill cap. mines been like that since i bought it. it looks like something somebody rigged to work on there but not factory. it fits sloppy and does leak some. and its hard to get off. mines fuel injected too.

yeah, I can connect it to the airbox... I just need to get a hose and a breather element. I thought it was something someone did and not factory. I'll put whoever designed that into my 'What in the HE!L where they thinking?' category..... :lol:
