Hello All,

I'm the new owner of a 73 Bronco Wagon. It was given to me by my wife's grandfather.

He bought it new in Yakima, WA and was used as an apple farm truck.

It has 43,000 miles and completely stock.

The bad news is that it has not run or moved in 15 years (been sitting in a warehouse).

It has the 200 6cyl, 3 speed, blue exterior with white seats (no back bench seat), rust-free.

I live 5 hours away and plan to get it in shape to make the drive.

Needs: Full tune-up, battery, some wiring issues, master cylinder, brake lines, brakes, left tie rod, and probable a lot more.

I would greatly appreciate any words of wisdom.

I post updates and some pics of my progress. Thanks.

Hi Scott..,

If you had., borrowed., or rented a truck & car hauler trailer..you would be $$ ahead.

To get it safe/roadworthy...it may take you several trips back & forth (unless you're an ASE mech.) Sitting 15 yrs. ---lots of ghost failures could pop up in route.

Having said that., I have the same rig, only the roadster. I've driven it up & back 400+ miles several times.

Once you comfortable with it....hay.., go for it...!! :D/
