New clutch

I have a question. Since I am putting the NP435 in my bronco after removing the 303. I am going to replace the clutch since I am already in there. What size clutch should I use. The only 2 I have found are a 10in and 11in. I don't know what I have now and really don't know what to replace it with. Can anyone tell me the difference between the 2 clutch's or is there something else out there I should be looking for?

Generally speaking the 10" clutch is found in cars, the 11" was used in trucks...

That said, you probably have an 11" in there now, and your flywheel is probably multi-drilled for different pressure plate configurations.

IMO you can't go wrong with a diaphragm style clutch (LuK or C.Force) but there are others that will tell you the three finger (long throw) is the only way to go.

The diphragm style will have a lighter pedal feel, the long throw requires more pedal travel to engage/ release the clutch.

Both clutches have approximately the same clamping force...

STLKIKN thankyou for you're help. Tom's bronco parts has both the 10in and the 11in but neither one of them says what the difference is. I think I will go with the Luk 11in.
