hey guys i am building a 86 bronco it currently has a 351 w/c6,d44 ttb,9" rear.

i am doing the 460 swap with a built 460 built c6 with divorced 205. my sas is going to be a d44hd from a 77 f250 highboy that has been beefed up and a 60 rear 4.10s and locked rear. what i wanna know is how much lift is needed to run 39.5x18.50x15 boggers or 44s. go ahead and say the d44 wont take it but the high boy had 44s and never broke anything. my whole drivetrain came out of the high boy and i am just freshing up. so with out the crap i just would like to know if 12" front leaves and 8" rear with the sky shackle flip kit will give me enough room

thank you for all comments and opinions

(this is a budget truck i scored the motor, tranny, t-case, axles, 15x10 wheels, and a complete 79 f150 2 wheel drive truck w/460/c6 for 1600 dollars and bought my bronco for 250 and drove it home )

12 inch will give you plenty of clearance with 39's and should give you clearance with 44's...stock f250 leaves along will give you 3 3/4 - 4 inch lift as it is so i would imagine a 12 inch lift f250 leaf would be the same as 16 inch for a bronco...good luck with it
