 I need some advice guys. I've had my Bronco for sale fo a few weeks, had a couple of people come look at it and the all said the same thing. It's got too much lift, too much motor, geared too low, etc. I've got about $4,000 in my engine alone. My transfer case was just rebuilt in May 08, new centerforce clutch, NP435.. I believe you should get the running gear right before you try to make it pretty (maybe I'm supid or something). I still have my fairly stock 302 that came in the Bronco. Should I pull the mega built 351W (about 420 HP), put the stock motor back in, drop my selling price by $2,000 to $6500 and try to get what I can for the 351W seperately? HELP...I'm surrounded by girls who want a street bronco with a pretty paint job...

Mr. dawg..,

I wouldn't do a thing....you've done it right...!! Your truck is built for the rough.

Folks make excuses, not to buy, to hide their inadequacies or just plain excuses not to buy.

$8.5K sounds like a good price for what you're offering...!!

The right buyer will come along..! If not soon., raise the price....!

I started at $5K on one of my Cruisers & sold it for $13K by adding a few more "widgits", etc.

With the econo. a bit slow..it may take a 'lil longer...hang in there........ :D/ B)

What BB said. Don't swap that engine out. I am with you on your build. Running gear then make it look good. Sometimes if you just take it off the market for a few weeks, put it back on, you find your buyer, but I wouldn't buckle on that price much.

That sounds like a sweet motor, Your price sounds reasonable to me. I bought mine for 4000 and it sure wasn't pretty and stock to boot. Hold out or try again later if ur not in a pinch for the $$$$, Timing is everything. LOL
