My Bronco is sick

Hi guys and gals, I am having some trouible with my Bronco.

Rebuilt the motor---- droped it in the engine compartment

wired it up and I am not getting anythingShe will turn over but will not catch

Any ideas will help me considerably.. I live here in Anaheim Ca.

If it wasn't for that fact I have so much in the Bronco I get rid of it.

If anyone out there can help me I will bbq a steak for ya!!!!!!!!!

Check the wiring going to the distributor, starter solenoid and coil. What year is the truck?

Welcome to the Zone > . Ditto! It would be a help if you identify the year truck and what engine is in it. Also, is it carbed or EFI? It sure makes it a lot easier to come up with aprobable cause /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> . Add that type information to your signature. Before you push it over a cliff, spend some time to determine if it is a fuel or ignition problem.

Hello, and thnks for the reply!! It is an 83 Bronco w/351 Wins.. carb.. checked the distrib and replaced the

solenoid anyway and coil and the distrib.

Could there be a prob with the Electronic ignition??? Thanks Fire dude!!!!

Well, it is not the Electronic mod. I just relaced it and still nothing... It just turns over..

Have you determined if the problem is fuel supply or spark? Shotgunning a problem just waste money.

Have you checked the grounds? There should be atleast two, one from the battery to the engine block and one from the rear driverside intake bolt to the fire wall. If you don't have a ground from the engine block to the frame, it would be a good idea to add one.

Let us know how you made out with the above checks.

I sure did. I'd like to go back to parts of the island that we couldn't go to from the Loran station due to duty requirements. The furthest we could go was Holts and Temnak Bays.
