Wow, I am so excited!
I went to the mailbox today and found my Bronco Driver Magazine waiting for me. I was walking up the steps thumbing through and had to stop in my tracks. There she was on page 68 and 69 in an article devoted to her called "A Full Size Soft/Hard Top Concept", from my custom build using the rim of a hard top as the mounting base for a STC soft top.

This is going to be the best spring and summer ever (except for the dang gas prices), since I acquired the top in the fall of last year I have not had it in good use due to the mild but wet winter weather in our fair Tennessee valley.
If you aren't a subscriber to the magazine, I would recommend it highly because they get you hooked up to all sorts of other enthusiast stuff you just can't do without as a Bronco lover.
Find them here and tell them Tennessee Jed sent you:

I still have this dream to start making tops based on a modified version of the later STC top. If I had a few thousand dollars things would be rolling now.
Y'all would buy a top called Tennessee Jed's Bronco Tops wouldn't you? If I could get a couple hundred orders together and deposits for unknown delivery dates, I could hit a bank up for a capitol loan to start fabrication and build you one in any color you wanted or I could get premium vinyl in. I would hope to fabricate it using a molded plastic rim in order to use the factory holes ONLY and the original rain gutter system as well as the inside trim. It would take a fair amount to get the mold work started and find fabricators for the upholstery, plastic and bows as well as a high quality vinyl supplier. It is just a dream perhaps way out of my reach, but it can't make matters worse to dream.
