Yup, just what Fred said.
I'd crank the temp gauge into the stock location on the radiator (not hard to find, just look for the fitting on the side with wires coming out of it) and as far as the oil pressure goes you have some choices. As suggested you can Tee into the stock gauge (this is usually found at the rear of the intake manifold, the sender is a kinda bell-shaped thingie that screws into a port at the center-rear of the block, the *block* not the intake, it's at the VERY rear of the engine. If you don't like that location there should be a port on the front drivers side where the fuel-pump block-off plate is. This port taps into the main oil galley coming up & off the oil-pump so it gives you pretty much whatever the actual pump pressure is, the one at the top rear reads oil pressure *downstream* of the lifters and such and can be a lower number than what the pump is actually producing. Best of both worlds is to get a cheap 2nd gauge & tap one into each location. I usually plumb the main/oil-pump galley one into the cab and then run the second top/after the lifters location into the secondary gauge which I mount under the hood. I've found this setup to be good for diagnostics but if you only run one than take your pick & plumb it into the cab with the others.
Hope that isn't as confusing as it sounds.
