i have a 71 sport with a 302 and a msd box and coil, it has a distributer with points and vacuum advance and runs ok but high and rough idle goes up and down. i want to put in a msd distributor but i am not sure which one (billet, pro billet small cap or pro billet street with vacuum advance) will the billet's large cap not clear my elderbrock 4barrel manifold? which do you sudgest

Check Summit Racing on line...they have all the MSD "Do-Dads" & specs.

They have a ph# for help as well.

Also...??? did they (MSD) actually make a "box" that runs on points..??

I thought the whole idea was to eliminate points......

And.., it sounds like there may be another prob. like., a vacuum leak. Is the carb & timing chain in good shape.?
