Hi,

I am looking at buying a used 1995 Ford Bronco (with a 302 engine, not the 351. and it only has 103,000 miles) for sale. It has a 4 inch lift and 35 inch tires. I know that a bronco normally gets 13mpg city and 17mpg highway. I was just wondering if having the lift and bigger tires will make me get a lot worse gas mileage. Could you please tell me about how many mpg I will get? Below are some of the pics of it.

Thanks,

Kris

The MPG issue is hard to tell from the information you gave. The pictures show a nicely assembled rig, but the most important part we need to know is the gear ratio in the axles. If it is still running the 3.55 stock gears, your mileage will be closer to 10/15. If the prior owner went the extra step to knock down to 3.73's you will probably be back into the stock range again. That is the key link in this equation. Hope my twin pennies helps!

well to tell you what, i have a 92 witha 302 and 254,000 miles and im stock with 33 baja claws and i get around 7-8 miles per gallon. stock gears( 3:55) and everything. a 302 pulling 35s with stock gears would take down your mpg alot.
