Hi,

I am looking at buying a used 1995 Ford Bronco (with a 302 engine, not the 351. and it only has 103,000 miles) for sale. It has a 4 inch lift and 35 inch tires. I know that a bronco normally gets 13mpg city and 17mpg highway. I was just wondering if having the lift and bigger tires will make me get a lot worse gas mileage. Could you please tell me about how many mpg I will get? Below are some pics of it.

Thanks,

Kris

Kris,

Ask seller if PSOM (Speedo) was recalibrated for larger tires & gear ratio changed front and back; if not, Speedo will be off by ~10 MPH bec of larger dia tires and MPG will look bad; stop to say 60mph performance will sux if gears weren't swapped...

try it out

GL!

yea it will cut ur mpg's down probably to about 10 city 15 highway...if your really lucky maybe 10 city 17 highway still...i would recommend getting a cold air intake and a exhaust system to help it breath, and headers for better performance and even better mpg with all that u should get about 15 city 20 highway...it all costs money but its well worth it in the end ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> i get 14 city and 18 highway and i have a 302 efi also i have 30's on it but plan 2 go 2 33's...with a 2 or 4 " lift.

so i will be floating in the same boat as u here in a while...lol also new high performance plugs such as Denso, Bosch, Spit fire will help add about 1 or maybe even 2 mpg...so if u want 2 get good mpg u gotta buy some parts...lol

it sucks i know but its worth it !

By the way sweet bronco bro ! hope i helped... ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

if u have any ?'***** me up...i know a little ( not alot but a little...)

coming from a guy with a 92 fullsize with 33x12.5 baja claws stock. 302 and all. i get around 7-8 mpg town. i have 254000 miles also. add ign a larger tire will deffenitly lower your mpg. i had the old 31s and got around 10-11 mpg.

stock gears and all.
