more I.D. help

on my vin plate, by the E- brake, the characters besides the vin #s go like this;

092 B U150198 CA3 then, in the lower right is 746291 these #s don't seem to follow along with what I've seen descriptions of on the suggested sites. It is possible that I'm over-complicating the matter so if thats the case feel free to say so...

From the numbers you posted, it looks like you missed the top line of the VIN tag...

092 is the wheelbase

"b" should be the original color of the truck

U150 is the model (Bronco)

198 is the trim level and body style

C is for the 3 spd manual

A3 should be the axle code

746291 should be the dso code ( where it was originally ordered from/ sent to)

Look at your glove box VIN numbers. They are all there and are easier to read because they have each identifier labled above the number. But it looks like you have a Caribbean Turquoise EB with 4.11 gearing, 240 inline 6 that was built in September of 65.

That is what I am reading, if I am reading your numbers right. But again, look at the glove box VIN #s.
