Hi Gang, I'm new to this forum and impressed by all the experience out there. I have a '77 (in Northern CA) that is all stock except for flared rear wheel wells. I have owned it a long time and it likely will never be for sale. I think it has the stock rear side view mirrors. The drivers side has a mechanical remote adjustment capability that goes to a lever on the inside of the door, the passenger side is fixed. The drivers side remote is worn out and doesn't hold position properly. I would like to replace both with slightly larger mirrors if someone knows of a good solution, second choice would be to get a fixed mirror for the drivers side that matches the original on the passenger side. Anyone stumble upon good mirrors for these early Broncos that aren't too large, fit the doors properly, etc.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience, Ed

Many mid to late sixties cars use the same mirrors as the EB.

67/68 Cougars even use the "remote" style mirrors.. (although my Cougars mirrors are a slightly different design than my EB's mirrors)

You could scour your local wreckers, or even try one of your local Mustang parts suppliers to find a good used mirror.

I have a 67 Mustang FB remote mirror that I am gonna slap on the passenger side of my Bronco as soon as time permits. The stock style mirrors are all over the place on similiar year Rords. Don't get the power mirrors off the 80s and 90s Lincoln, Mercury, and Ford Sedans though. They all look the same but the bevel that the mounting surface is milled or casted to is incorrect for the door and it will push the mirror into the window.
