I have to believe this topic has been raised numerous times but I'm about to replace the lens' on my 96 bronco. I'd like to go with LED lights but from what I've seen it requires some additional electrical work. Is it complicated for a hobby mechanic?
I'm also wondering if it requires a different lens for a different reflectivity need? As a side note I'd be interested in knowing if anyone has done a different color tinted lens. My truck is green so would only look at green tinted lens'.

Sorry, scubscout, I haven’t done one yet, so not much help here, I have done a couple LED headlight conversions that were plug and play, but, although brighter, the light was very diffused and I didn’t gain much visibility. In short, I think an upgraded lens may have helped.
Sorry I wasn’t much help, (I don’t like unanswered threads)
Cheers
