Wel I have just a few questions to ask yall, and why I didn't think to post here a week ago, I don't know, but hre it goes. First of all My bronco is a 72 powered by a 66 Mustang 200 six mated to a three speed on the coulmn. My dad has been wondering if we could possible upgrade the clutch(9 something???) to a V8 Clutch, which is a 11 incher, without any problems? The clutch chatters like crazy taking off in first.

What would yall recommend for a Carbuator upgrade? Right now I have 1 barrel Carter, and it sucks, I have looked at CLifford perfromance, and classic inlines, but I'd like to know someones personal experince with the carbs before hand.

Lastly, does any one know where I can get Electronic Ignition for the 200(Mustang) six?, I have had it with the points.

My bronco has a Jeff's bronco 4 inch lift on it, and we installed all the steering corrections that were needed, but the thing still darts around abit, What could be the problem in yalls eyes?

Ah, well can't help ya with the clutch thing, I've always been a juicebox kinda guy (rocking yourself out of a rut just sucks with a stick)

As for the Carb, well there just aren't any easy (read that as *cheap*) answers. if you hate the carb then replace it with a Holley but you're not going to achieve an awful lot by just upgrading the carb alone and you might just introduce some new problems when you start flooding & bogging the engine. You can do a lot (well, ok maybe not a lot but at least some) with the 200 but to do so you're really looking at a carb, intake & header combo and truth be told a cam would really be recommended. You have the right idea already and should just call the guys at Clifford & talk to them about it.

Offhand I don't know what electronic dizzy will interchange with what you've got but any junkyard with a Hollander's interchange manual should be able to tell you and so should the guys at Clifford.

When you say "all the steering corrections that were needed" could you maybe be more specific ? Are you talking about 4 degree C-bushings, dropped radius-arm brackets, a dropped track-rod bracket, an adjustable drag-link ? Just what ? You should probably have installed ALL of those (well, the C-bushings OR the radius-arm drop brackets, one or the other but not both together) and when it was all done did you have it aligned ? How are your tie-rod ends & ball joints ? Any & all of those will make it dart around and so will a 35 yr old steering box, what kind of shape is the box in ?
