went to the junkyard today and got me a whole spare tire asembly(my truck didnt come with one?)and brand new nerf bars for $18.95! one of the bars is a little dinted but it beats the **** out of spending $150 on new ones.just need to sand and paint 'em

I use to have a place to go for parts that just about gave them away until some idiot got himself killed there by sticking his head under a vehicle after jacking it up with cheap ass Toyota scissor jack in the rain with muddy ground no less. Well, it fell off the jack and I guess you can figure out what happened to his head. Now they don't allow anyone in any more, they just crush all those good parts.

most junkyards around here think they are selling gold. i had to pay like $10 for some old FI connectors but they have an un rusted looks new front fender for my truck for like $35, go figure.

The place around here's MASSIVE and sorted by make. I haven't been yet, but I hear it's pretty amazing. My buddy's buddy got a transmission in good shape for 50 bucks, can't argue with that even if it did need a rebuild, which it didn't.

here in Spokane we have Good Ol' " Pull & Save" pull the stuff you want off of wrecked or donated vehicules and pay less then half the price it would cost you for a new one.

me and a buddy were working on his truck we went out to a place here called pull and save. the name is exactly as it sounds. wrecked or donated cars you pull the parts and save huge mounts of $$$ anyway we went there last weekend and believe it or not we found a holley truck avenger 670!! we pulled it off before anyone else saw it and we only payed $180!!

put it on his truck and with a lil tunning works just fine. hows that for a find huh!
