So I'm trying to work this new head unit into fitting in the console of my truck, I need ideas on where to go with wiring. Yellow goes to battery, maybe throw in an inline fuse? I've got my ACC labeled wire, red in color? Think it should be hooked into something only powered when the truck is on? Cigarette lighter or AC maybe? Then the black for the ground. My orange labeled ILL, for illumination? I was thinking plug it into the fuse for the headlight dimmer. Then theres a blue wire labeled SYSTEM REMOTE CONTROL, anyone know where that would go? If you guys read into this and agree or disagree with these ideas let me know? Thanks

Yep Bronc76 is right on the remote going for the amp could also go to a power antena . The red is a hot with the key on like you said the yellow is hot all the time unless you like resetting the clock and your stations everytime you turn it on and the dimmer Im not sure if you can get that off the fuse I really dont think so because the fuse has 12 volts on it all the time it would have to be hooked to the dash light feed off the light switch for it to work properly but if you have no need for it to ever dim then dont worry about hooking it up just tape the end up and coil the wire up . Check your speaker outputs some manufactures put the stripe on the ground and some on the positive the speakers are PHASE sensitive ( + and - ) it wont hurt them but wont sound as good . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Ok so I finished pulling all of my wires on the new head unit, speakers, amp and subs. I plugged in one speaker to make sure it was playing and then unhooked the wires to do some adjusting. As far as I know nothing has changed, ive checked all the th fuses and wires, but now i have no sound? Any suggestions?
