if it has the stock radio in it currently, or if it had it in there previously and no one has tampered with the wiring, you can go to your local wal-mart and there should be a book that tells all back near the auto parts section where they carry the cd players and speakers and what not.

I am pretty sure that the 92 has the same set up as my 95. I found a dash kit from Fry's Electronics that had a large clip that secured to the back of my deck and then attached to the large slide rail that sits above the deck in the dash. But I am not sure if the 92 had this set up. Regardless you should be able to find a kit at any stereo shop, even online at crutchfield.com.

You can do it one of two ways, just use the cage to support the radio (what i did) OR you could take that slide thing off your factory radio and put it on the new aftermarket. At best buy we never used kits for any fords....

The slide is basically just the rear support for the deck. If you do any major wheeling I would highly suggest making sure that you have the radio connected to the top slide, otherwise you can expect some skipping when listening to discs.

So basically all I have to do is, put the cage from the aftermarket radio in the dash, pry the tabs to hold it in the dash, and just slide the radio in?
