Hey guys. After selling my 1990 Bronco and buying an'85 F350 with 38" Tires  I'm back. I've decided I want a Bronco 1992-1996 White, with the E4OD and A 5.8L (the 5.0 in my previous one was doggy) This truck I am looking at fits the bill perfectly but I am concerned about its miles. It has 208,000 and a rebuilt trans and rear axle but the engine is stock I have negotiated 2800.00 dollars for it is this good? any feed back is appreciated. (previous bronco sold for 3500.00 166,000 miles.)

$2800 seems a little high for 208K, but if the body & interior are superclean and the owner has the reciepts to document the "factory maintained" aspect then yeah, maybe. $2500 would probably be a better price but fact is that you already know you'll be putting an engine in it sooner rather than later and with a new engine, tranny & rear end it will be a very nice truck (again, assuming the body & interior look as good up close as they do in the photos). Also keep in mind that with 208K you're looking at a lot of other parts that may go soon: A/C compressor, Ps pump, alt, air pump, water pump, etc. I'd also at the very *least* drain & refill the transfer case & be prepared for that to have some milage related issues, better to deal with them up front instead of waiting for the chain to break & grenade thru the bottom of the case :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'd try to get the price down a little more but if you're looking at it as a long term investment then $300 isn't much to quibble over.

Yeah, most of the parts prone to failure with this many miles have been replaced(ps pump, U-Joints, ac comp, etc.) and he has receipts. I do plan on this being a long term investment(when I sold my last bronco I immediately regretted it) Thanks for the outside opinion.

Then yeah, I'd go for it (always easy to do with someone else's money :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> ). If most of the accessories have been replaced AND he has reciepts to backup the major service & replacement parts AND you plan on keeping it long term then sure, I'd pull the trigger. Nice clean trucks are harder & harder to find and once you've dropped an engine into this one you should have something good for a minimum of 15 yrs, probably 20 with synthetics and good maintenance. I'd pay $2800 for a long-term investment like that, *especially* if I knew I could do all or most of the work myself. Outside of the Rust-belt that truck will stay nice for an easy 20yrs, even longer with proper maintenance & attention.

Nice score
