idiot light

just put a new batterie in and now the light on the dash wont go out...nothing is simple :angry:

its just an annoyance but I still dont like stairing at it, any suggestions?

Are you getting 13.5 + volts at the batt. with eng. running..?

If not, check/test alternater.

Well he had a better idea than I do, I usually use a well placed photo of the wife or kids at this point. )

What year truck and are you talking about the Alternator indicator? If so, that is controlled by the voltage regulator.
