I am trying to set my timing on my 78 bronco but the sticker on my valve cover is not there any more does anyone know what the timing is on it.

Most engines run about 8 to 10 BTDC. I run mine around 12 BTDC. Not sure what you have, but that will get you in the ball park

Yup, engines have a way of getting real particular as the years go by. 12* is a good place to start, set it there and take it for a ride, if it's all good then forget it and move on if not then try 10* and see if it's better or worse. It's a learning curve.
