you'll have a carrier break at 4:10's

so might as well go up to 4:88's and replace that front carrier

the rear carrier won't need replacing with 4:88's

Carrier is another name for the actual diff assembly. what miss kitten was saying is you should run 4.88 gears but you will need to buy a new front carrier, now would be a good time to consider a locker of some sort. With the factory front diff you are limited to 4.10's which are good for 33's

oh my if you are unsure as to what a carrier is, then i would definately spend some time calling around to get some pricing on getting the gears set up

it may be very pricey

if your rear end hasn't been changed out you'll have the factory 8.8

there should be a tag on the pumpkin that will tell you what it is

and ya 4:56's will work as well

4.56's will work but in my experience with gears if your not sure go lower. I had 4.56's on my '85 F350 with 38's and while a very powerful truck(with a mild 460 smoking 38's was childs play) a lower gear like 4.88's would have been much better for mileage. With a small block and that large of a tire that you plan to run go 4.88's you'll be happier.
