If you could help me out, I'd sure appreciate it. My momma's Bronco is a 90 model automatic 351 with overdrive. It's not running correctly. I'm thinking perhaps a couple of spark wires are not in the right place. Pluse, it's been tuned up, but I don't think it was done right. Like I alway told her,if you want it done right, give it to me. What is the firing order on the 351 5.8 liter? Is it 1234, 5678 back to front like on the 302 5.0 liter? Thanks. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks! That will help. I didn't know it was counter-clockwise. Isn't it clockwise on my 302? I thought it was, anyway. Anyway, thanks!

if i remember correctly the non ** 302 has a different firing order i think its 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. the ** 5.0 shares the same firing order as the 351W but both i think turn counter-clockwise :)>-

Right on. I appreciate it...but am I correct on the cylinder numbers 1234 front to firewall on passenger side and 5678 front to firewall on driver side? I remember doing a tune-up and thinking how weird the numbering was. I can't see the numbers anywhere on the manifold. I guess you have to take the plenum off.
