Either of the amps you have listed should do the trick ( See what I mean about amp marketing???? The numbers dont match the math ) The bandpass boxes that you speak of are good but its a pain to find you're specific size. This is the box I run with two MTX 12s and a running rms of about 700watts per sub. I am running twin PowerAcoustik Gothic series amps and the fosgate in the middle powers my 6x9s.

ya i got a nice ported box today and it sounds real clean and nice...also i asked them what the fuse size on the amp is and what should it be to be able to do 400 rms

I've always been schooled that the fuse an amp comes with (usually 25amps) is the one to stick with. If you go bigger then you risk frying you're overloads and if you go smaller then you are robbing vital THUMP power from you're amp. For main line power from the battery I personally dont recomend anything bigger than 30 without having a breaker or a slaved fuse block powering each component individually. I just dont like shorts, In high school I fried so much equipment because going cruisin' was more important than doing it right the first time. O.K. I'm done preaching, I promise.
