I had the heads rebuilt a couple years ago and am just now getting this sucker back in. Saturday when I was attaching Power Steering/AC and Alternator brackets, one of the bolts won't fit on each. What should be a 1/2 inch hole is 5/8. It is the outside hole on both heads. I'm gonna contact the head shop, but it was 2 years ago, what can they do now? I don't want to take it all back apart!
Was this head from a pre-87 model?
Will the brackets from the right years fit my PS Pump, AC compressor, Alternator, etc.?
Would there be some sort of threaded adapter that may fit?
