Sounds like the wiring is loose somewhere. Start at the head lights and follow the wires back. You might find an obvious problem. Check the foot low/high beam button, this might need changing. Or the lights pull **** is bad.

If that is a regular cycling thing, it sounds like a circuit breaker. However, if it is a circuit breaker, it is either bad or you have a problem causing it to trip such as a short. Circuit breakers are often the self resetting style that look similar to a fuse but have a metal cover.

Good luck,

:)>-

The wiring diagram that I have doesn't show where the circuit breaker is located. Does anyone know where it is located? I looked at all the wiring, the dimmer switch isn't getting hot, nor is the pull **** getting hot. I did have a fuctioning light that had moisture in it, so I replaced it. Haven't checked it out yet. Thanks for your help.

If you are using your original light switch, it has a built-in circuit breaker designed for the original headlights (35WATTS). If you are using H-4 lights they are 85-95W bulbs, thus causing the switch to overloaded and tripping in and out (voice of experience speaking!) . If that is the case you can buy lower wattage H-4 bulbs in bright white, or wire a relay into the system and use the higher wattage bulbs. If your not using H-4 lights, then check the ground wires at each headlight.
