The hazard lights on my bronco are not working. It wouldn't be a problem but I am starting to work at the on base fire department and we use the hazard lights to let people know that we are responding to a call. My blinkers work fine and the fuse is OK. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

I'm only guessing, but check fuse #1, and if that is good, then consider replaceing the dohickey blinker control unit/switch. I don't know what you call it, but is is usually within the fuse box, (or somewhere near it under the dash) and makes the clicking sound when your flashers, or directionals are working. I think I used to call it the flasher. It just plugs in... I'd be surprised if it cost more than $5.

As an additional thought,

I remember with very old cars that the directionals did not work if one of the bulbs were burnt out. I don't recall if the hazards would. I suspect with these newer old vehicles that the hazards would work, but it wouldn't hurt to check your bulbs.

Also make sure that your brake lights work.
