General Lee Bronco a good idea?

Whats wrong with chevy? Every car company had their hits and misses no one is excluded from this including ford (pintos....) Ive never heard anyone from the muscle car era say that chevy had nothing, they dont say that about any of makers.

i was brought up sayin chevys are junk. well, 80s and up. i like camaros and corvettes, but all chevys trucks are good as the crap my math teacher says. but thats just my opinion. i am a ford and dodge guy. but more ford. as for the general lee. i dont know how it would look on an 88. i guess if your a guess but dont check guy. id say paint it.

Well, the body lift came in today /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have my truck at the shop right now, the radiator has a hole in it....

The hole is from the last time I went muddin, and I ended up running over a small tree, and it drove a small branch right through the radiator..... ouch.....

As for the General Lee Theme, I still got time to make up my mind....

i really dont think chevy's are that bad yes i drive a ford and **** yeah it goes through alot but i know alot of ford cars and vans ****. ford makes good trucks but if i had to choose id prolly get a chevy car because my freind owns a ford car and hes havin a **** of a time with it. and my cousin owns a chevy and nothing for the past 3 years so it depends on the type of vehicle with the make not just the make

agreed. everyone does have reasons to love em and reasons to not. hey american rebel, sorry for going so off course. i think the general lee would be a nice paint job if yours is all junk. it would probably be one of a kind. >-

If you like the General Lee theme on your Bronco then definitly do it. I personally would not do it to my own Bronco, just because that's not the type of theme I'm going for, but I'd love to see someone else do it.

As far as being brand specific, you guys are totally entitled to your opinions, but you are missing out. Fords, Dodges, Chevys and even all the Imports, they all have something to offer. In fact (and you guys are really not gonna like this) if I was building a bullitproof, ultimate fullsize 4X4 on a budget, It would either be a Blazer or a Suburban because a 14 bolt rear, a Dana 60 front and a 454 big block are all bolt in items. Remember the key words "on a budget".

That being said I really do love my Bronco (actually sometimes it's more of a love/hate relationship) and have had it far longer than any other vehicle I've ever owned.

oh, so if the paint job sucks, youd rather laugh at someone else? /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> just kiddin. to me, chevys are overpriced. but i dont want to go into it. american rebel posted this topic to reply about the general lee paint; not to listen to us bitch to eachother about which is the better brand. i wouldnt do it to mine because i like the bronco the way it is. again, it goes back to what the owners opinion is. i like the looks of the bronco so i wouldnt do the general lee, because to me, it takes away from the bronco look. but ive said it and i'll say it again, thats just my opinion.

i would take the toyota for the fact that u can get a "cheep" used 4X4 that gets good gas milage. if you don't mind not having the power of a V-8 that is. their 2200 4-cylinder is unbreakable and will last 200k-300k miles plus when u maintane it correctly should i run and hide too b-( .

but nothing beats driving a ford bronco as this is what this websight is all about /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Hey man, I say go for it. I've thought of doing that to my pickup (84 f150 stepside lifted). if I could do it for that cheep I'd be on it in a heart beat. I seen a lifted Blazer all dressed up like the General, I thought it looked pretty good. Expecialy with dark tinted windows.
